A market that has world class produce, food and beverage offerings at its core with a representation of stalls and activations that showcase the regions creativity, culture, attractions and experiences.
It is a place to shop, eat, drink, learn, discover and above all else connect with our local artisans and with each other. It’s a gathering place and it will be loud and proud Geelong and Barwon region.

For the first ever Masterclass at GCM - we will be joined by iconic fermenter, sustainability advocate and zero waste ambassador Mandy Hall! Mandy is here of course for the market but also because she is here to talk all things sustainable living for Geelong Sustainability. Now of course it is a no brainer to have her do a fermentation masterclass - Simon will join Mandy in making Sauerkraut using the veggies we buy from the market. So be sure to come along. We would love to have you!
12.30pm: Spring slaw - a different way!
The thing about spring is that everything is finishing growing from the winter and everything is starting to grow for the summer. However there are a few brilliant little veggies worth getting a hold of. This spring slaw IS the answer to all your salad, burger, side, needs - Join Simon for this step into Spring!
